Thanksgiving dinner... it's my absolute favorite meal of the year to cook & is pefect for Christmas or to ring in the new year too! Maybe it's the smell of the turkey roasting in the oven, which everybody gets a pinch of as soon as it's done, or maybe it's just knowing that it's a time set apart for those we love! Whatever the reason, I'm quite the traditionalist with it comes to this special menu.
At our house, it wouldn't be the same without Festive Sweet Potatoes, Good Ole' CornBread Casserole, Grandma Annie's Fresh Cranberry Salad & GiGi's Pecan Pies. Then, every year I play around with the stuffing; simply because it's not my favorite, yet it has to make the plate. For the men, it's all about that turkey & gravy!
